GREETINGS! BACK FROM LONG HIATUS

H e l l o !

It has been a veryyyy long time! Just realized that my last post was in 2014? That was like about 4 years ago. Now it's July 2018. Well, here I am! I have update on a few things here on my blog. The layouts, bio, and kind of almost everything :)

Actually, been wanting to delete almost all of my previous posts here, but feel like I couldn't do it :p
Wanting to delete them because it was dumb. But oh well *laughs*. Guess it will be just a memory for years to come. And you'll get to poke fun of me for my foolishness of a younger teenage self.

Just a quick update. I'll write more when I'm free (lets hope it's not going to be another 4 years). How's life been treating me so far? Well, life has been great and alright. Lots of things happening around here on planet Earth. But I'll probably not as free when I was years ago to write up posts in blogs and stuffs due to work commitment.

I'm mostly active (sort of) on Instagram or Facebook. You can follow me on Instagram (just click the tab on your right). Facebook is mostly for personal people like real life friends, relatives or family. Or people that I know. Since I posts a lot of emo sh*t there :p

While Instagram is mostly on my journeys or any exciting things that I found to be exciting or pretty.
Hope I'll get back to writing here soon.

Lacelle by Bausch & Lomb Contact Lenses Review

Apparently, Lacelle is the new contact lens range under the brand of Bausch & Lomb. I got mine for FREE during their roadshow near KLCC bus station recently. They're 1 month disposable type contact lenses. Means, after 1 month, you'll need to dump these & buy a new one. That's the duration recommended by any eye care practitioner basically. But, if you take care of your lenses well, you can even wear them for 3 months. Not long ago, contact lenses lasted until 5 months! But long gone are those days, since the contact lenses nowadays have lesser Aqua/water content. If you wear them for more than the recommended months, the lenses will likely become a bit hard/dry and it's not much comfortable to be worn since your eyes might turn dry fast/easily. So, it's better to just get a new pair or you'll risk having to rub your eyes frequently because your eyes feel dry and at times your vision becomes a bit blurry due the dryness.

I got my Lacelle lens in Black color and the best part is that they're also powered ones, since I'm far sighted.

How the contact lens would look like during different times/lighting

You can check out their official website to know more about their lenses. From my reading, Lacelle also have other colors to offer. The picture above have me wearing Black. It's basically a simple lace-y black ring. It's quite nice actually. I'm a fan of  bright colored contact lenses, so, wearing Lacelle lens is far much comfy since the color doesn't block much of my eye sight. If you're a fan of bright colored contacts, you'd know that bright colored contacts can disturb your sight at times because there's too much color & the middle diameter is quite small, compare to Lacelle. So, wearing Lacelle is much clearer when it comes to 'seeing more'.

And, here is my natural eye color without any contact lens. Not sure if anyone is interested in seeing them though :p Anyway, don't mind the little bumps around my eye. Since it's a close-up picture, so.....you'll be able to see any bumps, spots etc

This is my natural eye color without any contact lens

Resipi Kuih Bingka Labu Paling Mudah

Notes: Kuih bingka ni tak memerlukan oven untuk memasak dan tiada telur ayam diperlukan bagi penghasilannya

Bahan-Bahan

250gm labu-dikupas & rebus hingga empuk, kemudian dilenyek sehingga hancur
1/4 cawan gula (saya guna gula yang biasa digunakan untuk buat air manis seperti teh, milo etc)
1/2 cawan santan (tak kisah sama ada santan fresh atau santan kotak. Saya guna santan kotak)
3/4 cawan susu cair/sejat (kalau tiada, guna susu tepung je & bancuh SIKIT je dengan air panas untuk cairkan susu tepung tu)
1 sudu besar susu pekat manis
1/2 sudu kecil garam
1 cawan tepung gandum
1 sudu marjerin
1 pemanggang ajaib

Masa mula-mula buat kuih ni, saya tanya pada adik & emak saya, untuk measure (sukat) gula, santan, susu cair & tepung gandum tu kena guna cawan sebesar mana? Mereka hanya ketawa & cakap guna aje lah cawan mana mana pun yang ada kat dapur tu. Lol. So, saya guna cawan jenis yang biasa kita guna untuk minum/hidang teh pada tetamu bila diorang datang rumah beraya etc tu. Haha

Cara Memasak

1. Letak kesemua bahan yang telah dinyatakan di atas (kecuali labu yang telah direbus & dilenyek tadi) di dalam 1 bekas. Tak kisah lah bekas plastik or bekas besi. Kemudian, pukul hingga gula tu hancur dan sebati. Bahan-bahan lain pun perlu sebati jugak. Pastikan gula benar-benar dah hancur.

Tempoh memasaknya sekejap aje.. Kemudian, anda kena terbalikkan pemanggang ajaib tu ke bahagian sebelah sana pulak supaya kuih masak serata di kedua dua belah (iaitu atas & bawah). Pastikan anda terbalikkan pemanggang tu dengan pantas supaya kuih bingka anda tidak cacat rupa bentuknya hehe.

6. Sekali lagi, biar kuih tu masak dalam 8-10 minit.

The Best Body Scrub. Soap & Glory

It has got to be from Soap & Glory! \m/

When I first use it, I was a bit (ok, a lot) cynical on how it will really works on my skin. I mean, it's unlike the other body scrubs that I bought before. They have these beads (and lots of it) and, you get the idea. Lol.
But this one......urmm this one, doesn't seem to have much beads, seeds or whatever you named it..

But upon rinsing, guess I have underestimate the power of this particular body scrub from Soap & Glory. My skin feels glowing with somekind of pinkish radiance. And I didn't made that up! I swear, it works very well and it leaves my skin radiant and supa clean afterwards :)

Now I'm just addicted to it. I almost used it everytime I shower. I can say that I'm addicted to the smell of this body scrub from Soap & Glory. And it's proven that they put salt in it alright, just like what it states. Don't even asked how do I know that it's real salt T^T

Chanel Le Blanc Powder Foundation

It's being nice to my skin, so I came back for more ♡

I was mortified the first time I saw Chanel Le Blanc's products ads in magazines about almost a year ago. There's just something that really made me attract to this product. At first, I was thinking maybe it's just my shopaholic hormones urging to shop shop/ buy buy. But then after for so long, probably about a few months after that urge, I still feel all jumpy with excitement whenever I see this particular powder foundation. It's like whispering to me "Anna... Anna... come buy me.." :p

Every woman sure dreamt of owning themselves a bag or piece of clothes or two from Chanel. Right? Right?? But too bad they're just too darn expensive. The closest thing I could get is their powder foundation. Haha. I'm not saying that they're cheap, because they're definitely not cheap for me. But the 'prices' are still there. Btw, I'm a fan of anything whitening powder. So maybe that's another reason why I like Chanel Le Blanc.

I chose the powder foundation because it was a co-incident that my old one runs out. It's not like my old powder foundation isn't good, but I thought of changing to something different. And, I like buying a compact case that are refillable. Means that I don't have to keep buying new ones complete with their casing everytime! But even so, some companies came up with smart strategies these days. There are some that keeps changing the sizes of their compact cases even though there are refills provided in the market. Means that whether you like it or not, you have to buy a new compact case everytime, OR you can just use them a.s.a.p (not more than 3 months or so) & only then you get to buy their refills, without having to buy the complete new case =_=

Smart marketing eh? :)

I consider myself as slow as a snail or a turtle when it comes to using my make-up (powder foundation included), in terms of the longevity. 1 product usually finishes up around 6 to 8 months for me. That's quite a long time. But thank God Chanel Le Blanc doesn't change their powder foundation casing hehe

For me, this powder foundation lasts up to long hours, give me the dolled up look but still left me looking natural and not made up. Besides that, it doesn't left me with blue-ish/purplish complexion nor does it gave me the mask-effect :p

But the downside is, I don't know if it's just my skin or what, the first few weeks wearing them, my face is prone to acne and I could feel that my pores are heavily clogged. But then afterwards, it's all aright. I'm not sure why? Yeah no more acne now and I don't feel my pores being heavily clogged as much :/

Well, it does clog your pores if you keep re-touching your face with it a few times in a day though :p
I mean, which cosmetics doesn't?

Maybe the acne stuff on my face was because I'm not used to had my pores clogged much?? haha. Or maybe I'm just allergic to expensive/high end products :p

The Cure for Dry and Brittle Hair

Ta daaaa :)

Redken hair mask. Ingredient: Argan oil

Currently I'm trying this mask and it had been 2 days now. The results are just like in the salon. But I don't really fancy the smell though. It kinda smells like coconut meat :p lol

How To Pick The Best Mascara

Whenever I bought a mascara, I'd buy it in black. I don't like and have never tried colorful mascaras like green, blue, brown etc. I don't like the weird color..

Maybelline Magnum Volume Express. So far, I think this is the best mascara
that works for me, compared to the two that I've used below (Silkygirl and Za)

Silkygirl Mascara. It's very wallet friendly. Your wallet and this mascara
can be lifetime buddies.

Killer Volume Mascara by Za. I like the packaging. It's pink and black.
Two of my favorite colors :p
Hmmm this mascara is ok so far. But still, I personally think Maybelline is the best.
I don't seem to get enough of the black liquid on the wand from this Za

The packaging for Killer Volume Mascara from Za

Mascaras that I have never used before but I've read the massive review and would like to have one somewhere in the future soon
Bad Gal Lash from Benefit. You can get them at Benefit's cosmetic sounters or at Sephora.
I've read that SO MANY celebrities adore/use this mascara, including Vanessa Hudgens

Diorshow mascara. It is known that the models at the runways use this mascara backstage. They're
the favorite of the models. Or so, that's what I read. Lol

One word to remember, "bushy thick wand". It will get you more volume to your lashes.
